Decked Out

With lots of help and coordination several noteworthy achievements today. First Rock Mtn. Power finally got power inside the house. Since the beginning we've been running off the temporary box, but this was finally switched over today. Thanks to kind neighbors who allowed us to "plug in" to their house for a while our workers weren't delayed. The framing crew did all they could to get the deck nearly complete. Now we await the efforts of our siding contractor before finishing the final railing. Dad/Grandpa H. made a extra-miler run down to Idaho Falls to pick up 1/4 inch sheetrock - apparently the only supplier in East Idaho. Featured today are the pictures of that sheetrock now in place on the minor curve of the stairs.

Jeff! You're house looks so beautiful! I'm so happy for you guys. Now you definately have room for cousins to come crash and see the lovely Rexburg sites. Perhaps March again?

We'd love it! We built this house with just those kind of visits in mind. And when it's all done our goal is to retreat to Canada - hopefully later this summer.
