Much of the long-awaited stair parts arrived today, only to have us find that there was more than a little damage done. Much staring at the stairs was accomplished by our hardwood floor guy and finish carpenter. Hopefully they've figured things out. In the meantime our tile installer finished the grouting of the main floor tile and the downstairs bathroom. New tile to finish the guest suite should be here Monday. Our main holdup right now is the cabinetry and finishing the stairway. As soon as one (or both) are done, we can have the finish carpenter finish and the painters paint.
