Today we had the concrete poured into the basement via the pump truck (as you can see), and the floor very nicely, and smoothly finished. Also delivered were several more loads of reject gravel to get the garage area filled in. We're hoping the framers to show tomorrow along with the floor trusses...

So did you excevate under the garage and then decide to not put a room there? Why all the backfill?
The garage was "partially" excavated, but we didn't want all the structural and potential leak troubles of having a room there. We'll have the whole room above the garage for storage.
